Feb 2021 Bentham News
A Statement by Enable Disability on behalf of A White Knight IT its Community Interest Company.
Following incorrect information printed in February’s 2021 edition of The Bentham News.
It has been pointed out us in our Bentham Store that the following statement has been made by the local News Magazine “The Bentham News” (TBN).
There has been no request by anyone at A White Knight IT, or via Enable Disability to print this statement in the February 2021 Edition of The Bentham News.
The Bentham News Committee posted in Bentham Buy and Sell, the article it was going to write in it’s February edition. We were contacted by members of the Bentham Community asking “Why The Bentham News, was advertising a non Bentham business in a magazine soley distributed to Bentham”.
The committee of TBN was asked on behalf of Bentham residents if it could explain why Burton in Lonsdales IT Store (which is a non profit) was getting free “advertising” (as in a reporting piece) and A White Knight IT (C.I.C.) was in a positon where it had to pay to gain it’s advertising, (or struggled to get any articles written), especially when A White Knight IT, puts back into High and Low Bentham where it is based.
Currently Vulnerable and Disabled people in Bentham since October, has recieved over 50 and a half hours of donated support during lockdown periods (which accumulates to £670 of donated time).
Up to the point of writing this statement, since 16th January 2021, we have still not had a response to our questions put to the Committee of The Bentham News.
